Mindfulness Day Retreat
Your opportunity to refresh, restore, and reconnect.
Why not spend some time in silence to deepen your meditation practice and reconnect with your mindful, compassionate self? From 10am to 4pm you will have the opportunity to find your own space in silent contemplative practice, although there will be moments throughout the day to break your silence if you wish to. What to bring / wear/ comfort:
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move about in easily and it’s best to wear layers so you can regulate your own temperature. Chairs, mats, cushions and blankets are provided however you may wish to bring your own.
You may bring a drink (bottled water) and I advise you eat something before you arrive as it’s hard to sit in practice feeling hungry! Your own comfort is very important so if you need to move around, use the loos, have some water etc, please feel free to take care of yourself as best you can during the course. You will also need to bring your own lunch, as this is not provided.
There will be an option for you to undertake the day by observing silence. The main hall where practice is delivered will be designated as a silence zone during the course of guided meditation, as well as during break intervals. There will be break out rooms if you do not wish to remain in silence during break intervals and lunch.
